Finding St John's
Accessed via the A12 East of Ipswich. At the roundabout before the junction with the A14 take the turning signposted Brightwell into Newbourne Road. After a short distance turn first right. As you come to the crest of a hill, the church may just be visible through the trees to the left. Parking is available in the unmade lay-by to the right near the bottom of the hill. At service times pass the church then turn left (into the entrance to Brightwell Hall Farm) then bear left up the incline and park on the grass to the right.
