St Michael’s is open for refreshments and fellowship every weekday morning from 10:00 until 12:00. Why not come and see us sometime?

Involved in the Church

Prayer Group and Prayer Breakfast

We hold an open time of prayer weekly on Wednesday at 19:30 at St Michael's, and a monthly Prayer Breakfast on a Saturday morning in member's homes.

Bible Study Groups

There are some groups that meet regularly throughout the year, and others which meet during Lent. New members and enquirers are always welcome.

Mothers' Union

Our branch in Martlesham meets monthly and everyone is welcome to our meetings to find out more about us and to enjoy fellowship.

In Worship

All church members are encouraged to use their gifts in worship, and congregation members are involved in reading scripture, leading prayers and in the team leading All-Age Worship and Youth Worship at St Michael’s.

Church Music

We have three dedicated church organists, a music group at St Michael's, and informal choirs at St Mary's and St Michael's. New members are always welcome!

Flowers

Our churches are always decorated beautifully by willing volunteers working on a rota. A flower festival is held in one of our churches annually. New volunteers are always welcome!

Involved in the World

Charities

The church in Martlesham and Brightwell feel it is important to respond to need in this country and in the wider world. Junior Church has additional ongoing projects raising money for charities. We also have a regular Fair Trade stall.

We also organise annual house to house collections on behalf of Christian Aid and The Children's Society, and take part in the annual Suffolk Historical Churches Trust sponsored bike ride.
